Certified products, including desks, chairs and other classroom furniture, have been tested for their chemical emissions and performance according to the California Section 01350 Specification, the only health-based building material specification for indoor air quality.
The GREENGUARD Children & Schools program is overseen by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), an industry-independent, non-profit testing organization.
