Accordion partitions are a beautiful and functional solution for Schools, Churches and other organizations where flexibility is required in dividing large open areas into space-efficient classrooms, meeting rooms or reception areas. Available with acoustical ratings up to 41 STC. Ceiling-supported with heavy-duty structural grade aluminum channels, these floor-to-ceiling accordion partitions offer greater safety and privacy than portable units. Feature a unique all-steel internal accordion mechanism that provides years of trouble free operation.
Outstanding construction features include:
- Sound jamb channels lined with vinyl to provide airtight sound absorption when engaged by partitions.
- Heavy-duty fabric-backed vinyl that is durable, sunfast, flame-resistant and washable.
- Perimeter Seals - Both sides, top and bottom are provided with triple sealing strips. Center strip of vinyl effectively reduces sound leakage around the perimeter of the wall (standard on all units except Poly Partitions).
- Track and Trolley System - Heavy-gauge rust-resistant all-steel construction. Spaced at every second hinge to assure smooth, efficient operation from top to bottom.
- Air Release - Air vents at top, middle and bottom of leading edge assure uniform elimination of air when partitions are stacked in a closed position.
- Pull-in Latch - Positive acting tight seal for full height on closing edge of each partition.
- Poly Partition - 25 STC Acoustical Rating. Economical, lighter-weight unit constructed of 2 layers of heavy-duty fabric-backed poly vinyl attached to a steel inner frame.
- Deluxe Poly Partition - 35 STC Acoustical Rating. Includes flame-resistant poly foam layer for enhanced sound absorption.
- Steel Panel Partition - 38 STC Acoustical Rating. Internal structure includes solid 22-gauge steel double-wall panels attached to frame, with continuous flame-resistant poly foam layer for excellent sound reduction. Heavy-duty all-steel 8" hinges.
- Deluxe Steel Panel Partition - 41 STC Acoustical Rating. Same construction features as the Steel Panel Partition with heavy-duty all-steel 12" hinges for increased sound reduction.
- Tie Backs: hold partition in tighter stack and are color coordinated to match partition.
- Security Lock: keyed on both sides.
- Bi-Parting: allows partition to conveniently latch in middle.
- Pendall Pulls: allow even easier movement of larger partitions.
